A teenage driver was at the wheel of one of the car's involved in a recent incident on an Illinois roadway. The car accident, which officials say may have been caused by the teen, resulted in the death of one victim. In addition, at least one other person suffered injury that required medical attention.

Early reports of the car accident note that the teenager and the man at the wheel of the other vehicle involve dint he car accident were at the intersection of Troy-O'Fallon Road and Mill Creek Road just prior to the crash. As one car entered the intersection, it was struck on the driver's side by the vehicle being driven by the teenager. The violent impact caused the driver to be ejected from his car, which had overturned.

The man died at the scene of the car accident. Now, Illinois officials are left to make determinations as to how the incident occurred and who was at fault. This information could assist them in their efforts to determine of criminal charges will be filed against the young driver.

In addition to possible criminal allegations, the driver may also face personal injury liability after the car accident. In these type of cases.
