Illinois teen at wheel of car during fatal car accident

A teenage driver was at the wheel of one of the car’s involved in a recent incident on an Illinois roadway. The car accident, which officials say may have been caused by the teen, resulted in the death of one victim. In addition, at least one other person suffered injury that required medical attention.

Early reports of the car accident note that the teenager and the man at the wheel of the other vehicle involve dint he car accident were at the intersection of Troy-O’Fallon Road and Mill Creek Road just prior to the crash. As one car entered the intersection, it was struck on the driver’s side by the vehicle being driven by the teenager.
