Single-vehicle accidents can be just as serious as crashes that involve multiple vehicles. Truck accidents can especially result in considerable damage due to the size of the vehicles. A similar situation recently took place in Illinois when an accident involving one semi-truck occurred. It was reported that the truck was unable to remain on the roadway and traveled off the right side. As a result, the truck hit the ditch and overturned. Unfortunately, the accident resulted in serious injuries to both individuals in the truck. The driver apparently suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead at an area hospital.
